| Hi,
We had been to your restaurant before, I like the decor and some of the dishes. I loved the Kotu Paratha and Crab masala we had ordered.
But had issues with chicken lollypop which was dry and sambar, rasam and chutneys were lacking flavor. Now I am coming with 10 of my friends on March 18th, so please advise. |

| Authentic South Indian(Tamilnadu) food !
Amma's is another home for me and my husband.We have tasted almost everything from the menu and the most yummy food in bay area i would say.I like the kid's menu. My 2 yr old love the mini ghee idlis. Fresh parottas !! (not the frozen ones).The team is very friendly ! They make you feel at home Excellent service. Mr. Mohan is down to earth.Ambience is neat and cool ! I will definitely suggest this place to anyone !
One thing that i would like to request is show eqaul preference to all whether they are from south india or india ! Here we are..myself,my husband and my 2 yr old son having dinner in Amma's and Bollywood songs were played in the TV.Once that CD was over the team changed a Tamil songs DVD.The first one was my son's fav "Adada Mazhai.." from Paiya...there was these 4 gentlemen from north..looked pretty descent,highly professional who asked the waiter to change to Hindi songs..How rude.. Comm'n guys you got to respect other's intersts as well !! Once they changed to Hindi we had tough time consoling my son(his fav song is changed!) I dont know if i have to blame the managment or those 4 guys ! is it the mangement's responsilbilty to balance everyone's interests or those 4 gentlmen who were dominant ? I also think that i'm a valuable client who had my son's bday party here and also recommended this restaurant to more other customers !

| Finally, a good Indian dining experience in Fremont which is not short of good Indian food. Amma’s offers good food, reasonable price, excellent service and a wide range of selections from South Indian, Indochinese (including Momo's) Dosas and a large range of north Indian dishes...The decor is great and overall I would rate this restaurant as an excellent option for Indian food. |
